My Boy

Okay, okay....I have a lot to catch up on here. Most importantly Paige's birthday....BUT as you can imagine things are insanely crazy around here.  So for now a teaser, and hopefully I'll catch up soon.

Check out what my big boy did all on his own today!!!  Lately he's been so into butterflies and bugs, (but mostly butterflies; I don't blame him!) and wanting to catch something so badly.  He's been creative in his problem solving too.  He told me about his idea to leave a flower out to lure a butterfly to him rather than chase around.  Now I think this one he caught the good old fashioned way, but I just love it when he gets thinking like that.

It's just crazy to me how whenever he wants to learn something new, it's so hard for so long and then all of a sudden he gets it; and it's just that easy for him anymore.  Take this butterfly for example.  Five minutes after he caught this one, he came running back in to tell me he'd caught one for Andrew too.  I love this big boy and I'm proud of all that he is learning and doing!

Parker has decided to name this little guy Whippy......because he can't skip around.  Thus Whippy.  See here if that doesn't make any sense to you.  :)
