Yesterday our sweet Baby Emma was blessed. It was such a great day. It started out early as most mornings do around here. I got up with Emma to find Parker and Paige already up and having a snuggle on the couch as they watched a show; patiently waiting for the rest of us sleepy heads to rouse. (Lest you think the rest of us lazy, this was at 6:15 in the a.m.) When Emma and I joined them on the couch, they included us in the snuggle. It was a morning full of "I love you's" and "Aren't we so lucky?" and I was so glad to revel in that on such a special day. Believe you me, we have plenty of mornings full of tears, fights and "I'm hungry!" That just made the calm that much more special. Then it was off to church with all of those we love most to celebrate this special girl.
It's fun to have the extra little touches that add to the nostalgia; My blessing dress - now worn by all three daughters, the bracelet given to us when Paige was blessed by Brandon's Aunt SanDee, and the shoes, (sadly not pictured) made by hand from Brandon's great Aunt Sue and given to us when Claire was blessed.

I just love that family picture and I am blown away at how big everyone looks. Emma looked absolutely precious in that baby dress. Just like your other sweet girls did. I love it! And you look amazing! I would never believe you have had FIVE kids!
