Let the Christmas Festivities Begin!

Our Christmas festivities began with a breakfast with Santa and Grandma and Poppy Smith on Saturday at Thanksgiving Point. Here's the older kids enjoying their breakfast.
Grandpa and Riley,
and Daddy and Andrew!
After breakfast they had all sorts of activities. On the stage they had a hand bell choir and they invited the kids up to come and help play. Bailey and Sydney got an extra share of attention, because there were too many kids in the first group, so they sang along at first.
Then they got to play the bells!
Cheese! These girls weren't shy at all!
We managed to get a picture of all nine grandkids with Santa. My mom's copy is a little better. Parker was sitting in it without me, but he was screaming.
Then the kids got to have their faces painted and do all sorts of crafty activities.
Cindy Lou Who and the Grinch even showed up!
After the breakfast we went up to Aunt Rikki's house to play in the snow. It was quite a production to get the six oldest grandkids ready to go.
Here's Lexi and Nate. They were the bravest about the weather, and played the longest. (By the way, the fence in the background is 4 feet high. Can you believe all that snow?)
I took Parker for a little sleigh ride. He didn't last more than a few minutes.
Cute Bailey!
All the girls after we got warmed up inside. Aren't they sweet? (And yes, Sydney is dressed up like Peter Pan.)
What a fun day with our cousins! Thanks Grandma and Poppy!
