Craftastic

My mom sent us these adorable turkeys a couple of weeks ago as part of a fun surprise for the kids and I promised a report.

Let me tell you folks, this was my kind of craft.  Each piece of the turkey was pre-printed and punched out, all that was left to do was remove the paper cover from the adhesive backing and stick it all together.

Parker thought it was funny to give his turkeys a belly button. Although, as you can see by turkey number 3, he was torn between our craftastic fun and going to play outside with his brother.  Outside won.

Drew was the most creative of the bunch deciding that his first turkey's feathers should face backwards.  He had a great time, but had had it with our girly fun by turkey #2.  Really, I think he was tired of waiting for me to hand out each piece one by one at his baby sister's pace.

Paige-y girl LOVED this!  She cried when I made her stop after four turkeys.  She especially loved putting on the "sparklies."

Claire loved this too.  She was hilarious.  Every single turkey had to be exactly the same, matching dots to dots.  And you get two pictures of her because they were too adorable to choose.  You're welcome!

Emma's favorite part was the "GOO-gee eyes!" She kept shouting out for whatever part her little highness wanted, "sparkies," "gobblers" and "turkey bellies."  It was so fun to watch her chubby little fingers place everything together, and of course she inststed that she do it all herself.  I could hardly keep up with her demands.  Two pictures must be posted of her as well, and pardon the peanut butter face.

These fun turkeys have made a fun addition to the leaf rubbing garland that we already had hanging in the kitchen.  Thanks again Grandma!
