Sorry, I haven't managed to actually take a picture of our new house to post. I keep forgetting. But, we have been having a lot of fun lately doing small projects around the house to update the look, (the house was built in 1966). Parker has been a BIG helper to his daddy. This first picture is right inside our front door. There was this big planter/magazine stand there, and we wanted it out, and of course Parker had to help with the demolition.
Our next project is this lovely wood paneled wall in the living room. This is the before picture. Yeah, that's gotta go.
Of course Parker had to help take that down too, although since he actually couldn't reach, he just used his toy hammer to tap on the brick around the fireplace. That was a really big job.
Unfortunately, I don't have an after picture yet, because we haven't picked out a paint color yet. So far, the paneling is down, and Brandon has put up new drywall there, but we haven't painted yet. More to come on that! It is so fun to be able to do things like this to our very own home! We've also replaced a few light fixtures, but we have big plans for more improvements.
