Spider Trap
Wow. We've got a lot to catch up on around here. But I couldn't help but post this cuteness first. I just love the way my P Doodle boy gets thinking sometimes. Yesterday, he wanted to make a trap for spiders. So he made this "camouflage" spider. The plan was that he would tape it to the wall, "with clear tape so the spiders don't see it!" and the real spiders would come over to see it and when they did he would squish them. Notice how he even made sure his spider had eight legs?
In his own words: "Level one; we get a shoe. Level two, (which is even better!) Andrew and I hide behind the couch and wait for a spider to come. When it does we squish it!"

Haha! Jack and Parker would be such good friends!
Although... Jack is apparently too principled to kill spiders now. He's read so, so much about them lately and he's totally in love.
He did say he would catch them in jars to keep them as pets... but I said no. I'm such a mean mom!
