Can Your 3 Year Old Do This?

Check out what P Doodle did yesterday...
Yes, that's right, he helped to till the garden. Just to prove that he was really doing this himself, here's a picture of what Brandon was doing. He'd walk along behind and once in a while he'd give a little correction to keep the machine going along, and turn the corners for P Doodle. Other than that it was all him!
This little worker bee helped us outside all day yesterday; raking, clearing weeds and debris, you name it! We got a ton of work done, and love to have BIG (little) helpers.

Another note on this little guy: he is wise beyond his years. When Daddy left to go back to work tonight after a wonderful, but too-quick weekend together, I was a bit sad. He said to me, "Momma, why are you crying?" I answered that I missed Daddy, and when asked why I said, "Because I love Daddy." He then replied, "It's okay Momma, because you have him forever!" What would I do without this guy to be the man of the house while Daddy's gone?

He's also been mentioning his special lady again lately. Tonight he told me about the sort of things they would do together. He said, "She's gonna eat with me, and play with me, and go to the redbox with me!" Sounds like fun, doesn't it?

He's so grown up!!! And such wisdom... I guess these "short" times apart don't matter compared to eternity, right? I loved both of your testimonies today. Love you, Katie!

Katie,
What a wonderful surprise to see you had left a comment on my blog. And what sweet words, it made my day:)
You needn't worry that you ever did anything embarrassing at piano lessons, I only have fond memories of you as a student. So gifted and sweet.
You were always an exceptional and charactered girl growing up, the passing years have only made you more so.
So nice to catch up on how you are doing. What a darling family!
Love, Sis Walker
