Some Blogs of Note

I just wanted to give a "shout out" to some of my favorite blogs. You may have noticed a growing addition on my blog called "fun sites". Here's a few of my faves.

My new online Book Club!
Isn't an online book club a genius idea?! I wish I could say it was mine, but at least I get to be part of it! The best thing about it is that everyone can participate whenever is best for them, be it naptime, or in the middle of the night. I always find that getting together with friends and kids is a struggle when everyone has such crazy schedules to work around. The invitation to join is open to all, so if you're interested, head on over to Thinking Girls Book Club! May's book has just been announced.

Recipe Blogs:
These are my favorite to follow. Not every recipe looks like a winner, or one that I would try, but you can use the indexes to find something to suit your fancy, and these particular sites are a pretty entertaining read even if you don't try the recipe. Check out Rookie Cookie, and Cheap Healthy Good.

Blogs about the LDS Church:
Becoming LDS is my claim to fame. It is put together by a friend of mine from high school, (actually we've known each other since elementary school) and it's amazing. It makes me go, "Wow! She was my friend?" It has links to pretty much any church site you could want to visit, and other blogs about the church. It also has FHE ideas, and good discussion on conference talks, and thoughts from the author of the blog. The idea is one of continually trying to improve ourselves and become better latter-day saints. It's an excellent site for members and investigators of the church alike.
FHE Planner is another excellent site for Family Home Evening ideas. You can even check the indexes for specific topics, or lessons geared toward specific age groups.
Diapers and Divinity is geared towards moms, although it could be appreciated by a wider audience. The author is doing a once-a-week "book club" studying talks from our recent General Conference. The general everyday posts are geared towards uplifting and motivating moms.

So, if you're interested, check these out. It's worth your time.
